Chandra Grahan, more commonly known as a lunar eclipse, is expected to be visible across all regions of India. The event is slated to occur on the night of October 29, 2023. It will commence at 1:05 AM and conclude at 2:24 AM, with a total duration of 1 hour and 19 minutes.

According to astrological guidance, Kumar Purnima Puja is recommended to be conducted just before the eclipse begins, starting precisely at 1:44 PM. This auspicious moment is deemed ideal for performing all the associated rituals and pujas dedicated to Kumar Purnima.

Devotees are advised to complete their puja activities before the lunar eclipse begins. It’s important to note that during the eclipse, direct viewing of the moon is discouraged. Consequently, after 4:05 PM, it is recommended to abstain from gazing at the moon until the eclipse concludes.

To cleanse and purify the surroundings, it is essential to perform a special Chandra Darshan Puja after the eclipse concludes. Following this, people can relish a delightful meal and break their fast. The next lunar eclipse is anticipated to occur on September 7, 2025, after the last lunar eclipse on November 8, 2022.
