Leopard skin seized in Odisha’s Kalahandi

Kalahandi: Police seized leopard skin at Dhanrabhata village under Biswanathpur police limits of the district here on Wednesday.

According to reports, police, acting on a tip-off, rushed to the spot and seized the skin while it was being ferried on a motorcycle. However, police could not arrest the persons those who were carrying the Leopard skin as they fled the spot after leaving the bike and the Leopard skin.

Notably, a couple of days ago, a leopard skin was seized and three persons, including a bank employee, were arrested in Mayurbhanj district.

Likewise, another leopard skin racket was busted in Sambalpur on March 15. As many as 10 persons were arrested in that case. Four leopard skins were seized from them.
