Bhubaneswar: The Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) has postponed its semester examinations, which were earlier scheduled to start on May 20.
A notification issued by the BPUT revealed that the examinations have been rescheduled for June 13.
Noteworthy, the decision to postpone the examinations was taken in view of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) scheduled to be held on May 20.
The NEET entrance test was initially scheduled to be held on May 5, but was later postponed to May 20 in view of the massive infrastructural damage and disruption in power supply and telecom services caused by Cyclone Fani, which lashed coastal Odisha on May 3.
