A fever spread in Mohammadpur of Sambalpur district in Odisha. One person has died while 39 people have been infected.
All infected are being treated. Out of the other 38 people, 4 have been admitted to Burla VIMSAR. The deceased has been identified as Ravi Tirki.
According to information, diarrhea has been spreading since October 13. Today, five more people have been infected, four of them are in serious condition.
On the other hand, after this incident, two medical teams have made a camp there in the area while the treatment is going on. All other infected persons have been admitted to the community health center (CHC).
