Class timing of Odisha Schools rescheduled: Check details

Bhubaneswar: In the wake of the extreme heat wave condition across Odisha, the teaching hours in all schools in the State has been rescheduled.

From May 2nd, 2022 classes in the Schools will commence at 6.00 am in the morning to continue till 9 am. However, the examinations which have been already scheduled by different Boards and Councils will continue as usual.

The Department of School and Mass Education, Government of Odisha on Saturday said in a letter that the teaching hour in all schools has been rescheduled. Accordingly classes will go on from 6 am to 9 am. This will be with effect from 2nd May, 2022.

However, the examinations already scheduled by different Boards/ Councils will continue as usual, the letter also said.

Besides, the Learning Recovery Plan (LRP) prepared by OSEPA will be conducted during summer vacation. This LRP is applicable for Government and Government Aided Schools. The students who are being promoted from Class III up to Class X including new admissions and also for Class XI students who will be promoted to Class XII (Higher Secondary Schools) will be covered under this plan.
