Titlagarh hottest town of Odisha today, records 45.5 Degree Celsius: Check temperature of all towns/ cities

Bhubaneswar:  The Titlagarh town in Balangir district of Odisha that is humorously sometimes termed as ‘Tatalagarh’ in Odia for its extreme temperature has recorded 45.5 Degree Celsius today. This is the highest temperature in Odisha today and also the highest day temperature of the State this year.

Besides Titlagarh, temperature of another two places in the state also crossed 45 Degree Celsius today.

As per reports, temperature of 9 cities in Odisha crossed 44 Degree Celsius on Saturday. Similarly, day temperature of 21 cities crossed 40 Degree Celsius.

Here are the maximum day temperature recorded in some towns/ cities of Odisha on Saturday: Bhubaneswar 37.8, Angul 44.5, Jharsuguda 44.9, Keonjhar 42.0, Sambalpur 44.3, Sundergarh 44.0, Hirakud 43.5, Bhawanipatna 42.5, Bolangir 45.0, Phulbani 41.9, Titlagarh 45.5, Talcher 42.7, Bhadrak 41.5, Jajpur 41.0, Deogarh 41.5, Bargarh 44.4, Nuapada 42.5, Sonepur 44.7, Boudh 45.0, Nayagarh 42.0, Paralakhemundi 42.5 and Malkangiri 40.0 Degree Celsius. All other towns of the State recorded less than 40 Degree Celsius.
