33 KISS students receive sports scholarship

Bhubaneswar: As many as 33 students of the Kalinga Institute of Social Science (KISS) were felicitated by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday. The CM also provided a scholarship of Rs 15 lakh to them for their remarkable achievement in the field of games and sport.

The 33 KISS students have also been felicitated by KISS and KIIT founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta today. These sportspersons belong to different games and sports like rugby, hockey, kho kho, judo, and baseball as well as archery.

In his reaction, Dr. Samanta said that the ultramodern infrastructure, facilities and able guidance provided by the experienced coaches in KIIT and KISS have groomed the sportspersons/ students of KISS. Thanks to them as they have earned remarkable success in the national and international level.

Dr. Samanta has hoped that the students of KIIT and KISS will achieve major success even in the Olympics in the coming days.
