Cuttack: As many as 27 students of a College in Cuttack district of Odisha were tested positive for Covid 19 on Thursday. Following the incident, the College Authorities vacated the hostel and sent 20 of the students to their homes.
As per reports, 27 students of the Udaynath Autonomous College in Adaspur area of the district tested positive. Accordingly, the College administration vacated the hostel and sent 20 students to their homes. The rest 7 students have been kept in isolation in the college premises, intimated the College Administration.
Following the incident, the College Administration has also announced to cancel classes for 7 days. However, the +3 final year examination will be held amid Covid restrictions, the College Authorities informed.
