India’s star bowler Ravichandra Ashwin has received an invitation to attend the Ram Temple consecration ceremony on Janaury 22 in Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh. R Ashwin is the latest to receive the invitation for the ceremony.
Apart from him, cricketers including Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli have been invited to the ceremony at the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Announcing the news, BJP Tamil Nadu State Vice President Venkatraman C wrote on X, “Excited to stand alongside BJP State Secretary Shri. @suryahsg in presenting a heartfelt invitation and Akshathai to the esteemed cricketer Shri. @ashwinravi99 for the Ayodhya Ramar Temple #PranaPratishta.”
Meanwhile, several Bollywood actors like Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Hariharan, Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda have received that invitation for the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony in Ayodhya.
Ram Mandir’s inauguration is begun with seven-day-long rituals from Monday (January 16). The idol of Ram Lalla was installed in the sanctum sanctorum on Thursday. Over 7000 people are going to attend the grand occasion in Ayodhya on January 22.
