Jasprit Bumrah likely to miss 3rd Test against England

India’s star bowler Jasprit Bumrah is likely to miss the third test of the five match series against England as he might be granted a break. The national selectors are considering resting Bumrah for the third test to ensure he returns rejuvenated for the final two tests.

The star bowler was declared the the player of the match for his outstanding performance, claiming nine wickets for 91 runs in the second test match played at Vishakhapatnam.

Meanwhile, India has climbed to the second rank in the World Test Championship (WTC) points table after defeating the white team in the second test match.

While Australia tops the table, India stands second after playing six match. Out of the total, the team has won three matches, lost two and draw in one match. However, after losing the match, England has dropped to the eighth spot.

It’s worth mentioning here that India defeated England by 106 runs in the second Test match of the five match series played at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vishakhapatnam.
