Indians love to overdo their wedding functions, as for us marriage is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Therefore, we celebrate it like a festival. In this ongoing wedding season, many couples are taking extreme measures to make their D-day not only memorable but also as grand as they can. Event planners too, make sure that weddings nowadays looks like a film set-up. As planners come up with innovative ideas for the bride and groom’s entry, they introduce props like chariots, rotating platforms, swings, etc.
As amazing as these props, as dangerous as they are. Similarly, a wedding turned into a nightmare for a couple from Chhattisgarh’s Raipur, when the platform they were in suddenly broke. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
A video from the incident has gone viral on the Internet, it shows the soon-to-be-married couple entering the stage in an oval-shaped swing with massive fireworks on the back. Background dancers made the stage look more lively. Suddenly the harness of the swing snapped and making the couple fall drastically.

After they fell from the swing, their friends and family members can be seen running towards the stage to save them. Some even panicked and screamed.
Reportedly, the height from where the bride and groom fell was around 12 feet, but fortunately, they only obtained a few minor injuries. After the venue calmed down, in about 30 minutes, the couple proceeded to their wedding ritual.
As per reports, the wedding planner company has taken complete responsibility for the incident that took place.
