During the Covid pandemic period, the cost of living crisis affected millions of people around the world and people were forced to work from home.
In such a situation, a man from US moved into his office cubicle and started living there. The US man Simon decided to do this as protest against his low salary in his company.
He posted videos of himself on TikTok and Instagram with the hashtag ‘homingfromwork’.
In the short video, Simon can be seen laying out stuff from his suitcase on his desk. He slept under his desk in a sleeping bag. He had canned pineapple and ham stored in the fridge. He also mentioned that he takes a bath in the second building of the office.
“This is me, taking all my belongings from multiple bags and unpacking them. I am moving from my apartment into my cubicle. They do not pay me enough to do both. As a matter of protest, I am just going to live at my job and see how long I can get away with it,” he said in the video on Instagram.
