Lizard in Biryani! A customer from Hyderabad was left horrified after he found a dead lizard in his Biryani order from a local restaurant through Zomato.
In a video posted on X platform (formerly Twitter) by Telugu Scribe, the customer shows the dead lizard lying amidst the cooked rice and chicken pieces of the Biryani. The video also shows the restaurant’s packaging, confirming the source of the order.
According to reports, the customer attempted to contact the restaurant to raise the issue, but received no response. Frustrated and concerned, he decided to share the video on social media, which quickly went viral.
Zomato replied to this tweet and wrote, “We have identified the issue and spoken to the customer. We take this very seriously and are working on appropriate next steps.”
