Distressed calls of this Asiatic Cheetah will leave you saddened, watch
An Asiatic Cheetah cub has been spotted recently looking for its sibling in the forest. Along with her mom the Cheetah is searching for it’s sister that was reportedly killed in a road accident.
The Cheetah cub is doing so for the last six nights. And to search her brother the animal making distressed calls which will leave you saddened.
IFS officer Susanta Nanda took to Twitter and shared the video where the baby Cheetah can be seen making distressed calls. Nanda captioned the post that reads, “These distressed calls of one of the last Asiatic Cheetahs will leave you saddened. Searching every night since last 6 days, with mom for his brother killed by the road accident.”
It is to be noted that reportedly, only 12 Asiatic critically endangered cheetahs, 9 males, and 3 females, are left in Iran as of now as per the Iranian Department of Environment.
The post earned a number of comments in many of which people conveyed their sadness for the loss of the Cheetah. A user lamented, “People don’t think it is vital to provide animal paths while building infrastructure.”
Another user wrote, “Oh, no one can save them, when they don’t value human life, then cheetahs are far distance species, very much irrelevant from their point of view.”
