Bihar youth requests CM to ban weddings to stop girlfriend’s marriage amid covid crisis

There are many eternal love stories, where people have gone to extreme levels to win over their loved ones. From Heer Ranjha, Romeo Juliet to Laila Majnu, people have done unbelievable things just to get their love.

But, Pankaj Kumar Gupta from Bihar has caused a laugh riot on Twitter in his effort to win his love. In an attempt to stop his girlfriend’s marriage, the man went to the extent of requesting the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to impose a ban on weddings in the state in the wake of the coronavirus crisis.

As his girlfriend was getting married to another man, the youth took to Twitter to request Nitish Kumar to stop the wedding. His tweet is now going viral on social media.

Taking to Twitter, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, posted, “The positive outcome of the lockdown is evident. Hence, a decision has been taken to extend the lockdown by another 10 days, from May 16 to 25.”

Replying to his post, Pankaj Kumar Gupta replied, “Sir, if you could impose a ban on weddings, then my girlfriend’s wedding, scheduled to be held on May 19, would also be stalled. I will be grateful to you forever.”

Now, social media users are not able to contain their laugh after reading Gupta’s request to Nitish Kumar.

Meanwhile, India has recorded 2.59 lakh fresh Covid-19 cases and over 4,200 deaths in the past 24 hours. The top five states which have registered maximum cases are Tamil Nadu with 35,579 cases, followed by Kerala with 30,491 cases, Maharashtra with 29,911 cases, Karnataka with 28,869 cases and Andhra Pradesh with 22,610 cases.
