In a real-life scenario that looked like a scene from a Bollywood film, a Bengaluru auto driver became a hero for his passenger Adil Hussain. Faced with the risk of missing their train from Bengaluru city junction, the auto driver proposed a daring solution: reaching the next station in just 20-25 minutes. Interestingly, the next station, Yelahanka Junction, was about 17 kilometers from where they were.
Initially hesitant, Adil decided to take the chance and boarded the auto with his friend. Surprisingly, the Bengaluru auto driver exceeded all expectations and completed the journey with five minutes to spare. The charge for this high-speed adventure was a reasonable Rs 2,500. This was considerably less than any alternate transportation option like booking a flight or another train.
The incident, described by Adil as a ‘#PeakBengaluruExperienc,’ brought back memories of the iconic scene from the Bollywood film ‘Jab We Met,’ where the character Aditya Kashyap takes over the wheels to ensure the female lead reaches the next station in record time.
Adil shared his experience on social media, recounting how he was racing against time to catch the Prashanti Express from SBC station. Due to traffic delays, he was running late, but the auto driver confidently suggested taking them to the next station. He even ensured that they would not miss their train. The Bengaluru auto driver unconventionally navigated through the traffic, with remarkable speed.
Thanks to the determined efforts of the Bengaluru auto driver, Adil Hussain and his friend reached Yehalanka Junction comfortably by 2:15, five minuted before their train arrived.

I was supposed to board Prashanti express at 1:40 pm from SBC station and due to some work commitments I started by 12:50 from Marathalli.
The distance was 17 kms and due to traffic i couldn’t make it on time.
