Woman’s half-burnt body recovered from closed house in Kalahandi, murder alleged
In a shocking incident, a woman’s half-burnt body was recovered from a closed house at Chichaiguda under Junnagarh police station limits of Kalahandi district.
Kalahandi: In a shocking incident, a woman’s half-burnt body was recovered from a closed house at Chichaiguda under Junnagarh police station limits of Kalahandi district.
The deceased woman has been identified as Padmabati Meher.
According to her family members, Meher was living alone in the house. So she cannot die by herself. They alleged that some miscreants have killed her and set the body on fire before locking the door from outside.
Padmabati’s brother Balaram filed a case of murder at Junagadh police station and demanded an impartial investigation.
Based on the complaint, a team of cops from the Junagadh police station reached the spot with a scientific team and started an investigation.
While the body was sent for postmortem, samples have been collected from the house to get some lead in the case.
