President Droupadi Murmu lands in Bhubaneswar, will attend ‘Boita Bandana’ festival

President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Bhubaneswar this evening. She was received at the airport by Governor Raghubar Das, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs and Jal Shakti Bishweswar Tudu and others.

Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Bhubaneswar this evening. She was received at the airport by Governor Raghubar Das, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs and Jal Shakti Bishweswar Tudu and others.

After landing at the airport at 6 PM, she proceeded to the Raj Bhavan, where she will spend the night. This is her second visit to the State this month. Last she had come on a three-day tour to the state on November 20.

The President is slated to attend the ‘Boita Bandana’ festival at Paradip, being organised by the Paradip Port Authority (PPA), tomorrow on the occasion of Kartika Purnima.

Later, she will inspect port craft before addressing the members of the fishing community. After the address, she will leave Paradip at 3.55 PM and reach Bhubaneswar at 4.35 PM.

The President will leave for New Delhi from Bhubaneswar at 4.45 PM.
