Winter in Odisha: Dense fog disrupts normal life

The Meteorological center has issued a yellow warning for dense fog for as many as 11 districts of Odisha. The dense fog has disrupted normal life in the state.

Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha were engulfed in dense fog on Tuesday as the cold continued to diminish in the state. The dense fog has disrupted normal life in the state.

The dense fog was witnessed in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and in other districts as well.

Moreover, the Meteorological centre issued a yellow warning for dense fog for Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Sundergarh, Rayagada, Sonepur, Balangir, Boudh, Anugul, Deogarh, Cuttack, and Jagatsinghpur districts for today.

Likewise, a yellow alert for dense fog has been issued for 10 districts for tomorrow.

According to the Meteorological centre, the temperature will remain 2-3 degrees Celsius above normal temperature and the state will witness dry weather for the next three days.

Moreover, some places of the state will likely receive rainfall between January to March, said IMD.
