In the Sundargarh district of Odisha, the intensity of winter was less. However, it has become colder after two days of continuous rainfall, especially in the Bonai area of Sundargarh. In order to tackle the winter, people can be seen setting up bonfires at numerous locations. Tea stalls across the Bonai region are witnessing a hustle and bustle.

Earlier it was reported that there was a sudden change of weather in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. Several areas in Mayurbhanj continue to experience a cold wave. The night-time temperature was likely to drop by three to five degrees Celsius. The Regional Meteorological Department predicted a further drop in temperature in the coming days.

On the other hand, the Weather experts said that after the rainfall, cyclone Michaung changed its course in different parts of the state and passed through interior Odisha.
