Weather Alert! Low Pressure Area likely over South Andaman Sea around November 29

Bhubaneswar: According to the evening weather bulletin of IMD ( India Meterological Department) Meterological Centre, Bhubaneswar on November 26, a low pressure area is likely to form over South Andaman Sea around 29th November, 2021. It is likely to become more marked and move west-north-westwards during subsequent 48 hours, the IMD bulletin added.

The weather forecast by IMD states that, a dry weather is most likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha till 08:30 am of November 27. Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of coastal Odisha, Dhenkanal, Angul, Kandhamal and Boudh.

Dry weather is likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha from 08:30 am of November 27 to 08:30 am of December 1, 2021.

The minimum temperature at night is likely to fall by 2-3 degree Celsius during next 2 days, said the bulletin. However, no large change thereafter over the districts of Odisha.

Forecast for Bhubaneswar (for next 24 hours)

Fog/Mist in the morning and partly cloudy sky later. Maximum and Minimum temperature very likely to be around 30°C and 20°C respectively.

Other parts of India

Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over Tamilnadu, Puducherry & Karaikal during November 26 – November 29, 2021 and over south Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on November 28 and November 29, 2021.
