Odisha CM sanctions Rs. 96,500 for talented engineering student of Balangir dist

Balangir: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has fulfilled the dream of a meritorious student from a remote village of this district. As the student was failing to admit himself to the Engineering course due to poverty the CM sanctioned an amount of Rs. 96,500 to him so that he can take admission and make his career.

Tarachan Rana is a talented student from Badapada village in Sindhekela area of Balangir district. The income of his father Upasu Rana is about Rs 45 thousand per annum. However, keen for his studies Tarachan prepared his best and secured 99.35 per cent in JEE Main examination. He has been selected to get admitted to the Engineering course at NIT Warangal.

However, Rana faced problem for the admission due to lack of money. He has arranged some money. For rest of the money he had approached the CM.

After getting to know about the financial crunch of the meritorious student Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik came up to his help and sanctioned Rs. 96,500 for his admission to the Engineering course. The CM sanctioned money and wished Rana best of luck for his bright career.
