Truck falls off half-constructed bridge in Odisha’s Dhenkanal
An accident occurred on National Highway No. 55 in Dhenkanal of Odisha, the truck fell down the half-built bridge.
Dhenkanal: An accident occurred on National Highway No. 55 near Ankrantipur village under Dhenkanal Sadar police station last night.
According to reliable reports, the truck fell down the half-built bridge. While the truck was hanging from the bridge, the driver and the helper were rescued and admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).
However it is worth mentioning that, the injured driver has been identified as Alia Hasan. Both the driver and helper are said to be residents of Rampur in Uttar Pradesh.
However it is noteworthy, two people died when a tourist bus overturned in this very place a few days ago. According to reports, such accidents are happening repeatedly due to the lack of proper National Highway expansion.
