Status report on repair work of Natamandap submitted to Orissa HC by Amicus Curie

Puri: Status report on repair work of Natamandap submitted to Orissa HC by the  Amicus Curie, said reports on Monday. In the report, the Amicus Curie has submitted to the High Court of Orissa that the repair work in the Natamandap is underway.

Reports said that, the beam design will be finalized between December 19 to December 21. After that, tenders will be issued for the necessary materials.

The next hearing of the case is scheduled on January 18. The amicus curiae will submit a status report on the progress of the work on that day as well, said reliable reports.

According to the available reports, the Orissa High Court had directed the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) to begin the repair work of the Natamandap at the earliest. It is further worth mentioning that a court-appointed amicus curiae shall be appointed to monitor the work and submit reports in every 15 days.
