The ASI has got the approval of laser scanning of Ratna Bhandar of Shree Jagannath temple at Puri for repair of cracks
Puri: The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has got the approval of laser scanning of Ratna Bhandar of Shree Jagannath temple at Puri for repair of cracks.
After laser scanning the ASI will submit the assessment report to the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration which will place it before a sub-committee to decide upon the further course of action, said chief administrator of the SJTA Ranjan Das.
The ASI has been advised to carry out laser scanning of the main temple and other side deity temples as well with those modern machines.
The restoration of Nata Mandap has been completed as per the instructions of the High Court, informed SJTA Ranjan Kumar Das.
The ASI will conduct laser scanning of the outer wall of Ratna Bhandar as well as its northern wall which is the point of conjunction between the Ratna Bhandar and the main temple.
