Sambalpur: Woman found dead under mysterious circumstances, murder suspected
A woman was reportedly found dead under mysterious circumstances in Odisha’s Sambalpur district. The deceased has been identified as Yuktamukhi.
Sambalpur: A woman was reportedly found dead under mysterious circumstances in Odisha’s Sambalpur district. The deceased has been identified as Yuktamukhi.
Yuktamukhi, the daughter of Karunakar Das, a native of Kukurjangha village under Badmal police station of Jharsuguda district, had reportedly married to one Pabitra Mohapatra of Kirasasan village of Sambalpur district. The couple has a three month old girl child. However, she was found dead under mysterious circumstances.
Claiming that Yuktamukhi committed suicide by hanging herself, her husband Pabitra filed complaint at Kuchinda Police station. Based on his complaint, police registered a case and started an investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile, Yuktamukhi’s father Karunakar filed a murder case alleging that she has been murdered over dowry demand. Police registered a murder case under 302/34 section of the IPC and initiated an investigation into the matter.
However, police said that the exact reason behind Yuktamukhi’s will be known after her postmortem report is release.
