Puri: In a shocking incident, a youth has been brutally attacked by some unknown miscreants near railway station in Puri last night.
The injured man, identified as Liku Subudhi, an auto driver.
Sources say, Liku was heavily drunk and was abusing everyone near the railway station ,when some unidentified miscreants attacked him with a sharp weapon from behind, following which he fell unconscious.
Some people spotted him lying in a pool of blood and informed the ambulance and rushed him immediately to the hospital for medical aid.
His health condition has deteriorated and he has been admitted in the hospital for further treatment.
On receiving information, the Kumbharpada police reached the spot and have started an investigation.
