Police seize 110 gm of Heroin in Bhubaneswar; 1 arrested
The Khurdha District Mobile Unit in Khandagiri has seized 110 gm of heroin worth lakhs from the possession of a youth.
Bhubaneswar: The Khurdha District Mobile Unit in Khandagiri successfully detected an NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) case at the Subash Nagar Basti area on Sunday. The unit has seized 110 gm of heroin worth lakhs from the possession of a youth.
The youth has been identified as Kanha Mohapatra, aged approximately 22 years.
According to reports, the Unit was in search of illegal contraband in the area. During the search, the team found heroin in the possession of Kanha. They immediately arrested Kanha and seized the contraband. The cops have also seized a Royal Enfield motorbike.
Following the arrest, the cops initiated an investigation into the matter. Further detailed reports related to the case are awaited.
