OSSTET 2023: Last date of fees payment and submission of form extended

The last date for online payment of fee and submission of application form for OSSTET 2023 has been extended, said reliable reports.

Bhubaneswar: The last date for online payment of fee and submission of application form for OSSTET 2023 has been extended, said reliable reports.

As per the following program the changes have been done:

[a] Last date of online payment of fee — 24/12/2023, 11.59 pm
[b] Last date of submission of online application form — 25/12/2023, 11:59 pm.

The notice further clarified that, no further extension of time shall be allowed.

The date of release of admit card for Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test is — 12/01/2024

The exam date for the OSSTET Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test is — 19/01/2024

There shall be two papers of the OSSTET viz Paper-I and Paper-II —
a) Candidates having academic qualifications can appear in Paper –I of the Examination.

b) Persons having requisite academic and training qualification as per Category–II
have to appear in Paper-II of the examination.

The Duration of the Tests shall be 2 hours and 30 minutes each. All questions shall be Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) of one mark.

Each question shall have four options, the candidates need to find the one particular correct answer. Each question shall contain four sections.

In section-I, Odia shall be compulsory for all categories of post. In section-II, English shall be compulsory for all categories of posts. In section-III, under stream TGT (Arts) and TGT (Science for both PCM and CBZ. All the questions shall be in English.

The questions in other streams like Classical Teacher (Sanskrit/ Telugu/ Urdu) and Hindi Teacher shall be in respective languages/ scripts.

The questions in Section III for Paper-II (Category-II- Physical Education Teacher) shall be in English.

In Section IV the questions in Child Development, Pedagogy, School Management and Evaluation shall be in English and Compulsory for both the categories.

There shall be no negative marking, said the notification in this regard.
