Odisha vigilance raid on Chief Civil Supplies Officer in Bhubaneswar

On the allegation of possession of DA by Chief Civil Supplies Officer in Bhubaneswar an Odisha vigilance raid has been conducted. 

Bhubaneswar: On the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets (DA) by Chief Civil Supplies Officer in Bhubaneswar an Odisha vigilance raid has been conducted.

The Chief Civil Supplies Officer has been identified as Prashanta Kumar Gantayat simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance.

The Odisha Vigilance raid was led by eight DSPs, five Inspectors, and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.

Further it is to be noted that the raid has been conducted at the following eight places in Bhubaneswar and Ganjam:

1. One single storeyed building located over plot No. 1485 under village Pandara, Bhubaneswar.

2. One triple storeyed building located over plot No. 1484 under village Pandara, Bhubaneswar.

3. An apartment located at village Bhabanipur, Berhampur-II of Neelachal Heights.

4. One double storeyed building (VIM-192) located at Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.

5. An Apartment at Neelachal City Canal Road, Badagada, Laxmi Sagar, Bhubaneswar.

6. Office chamber of Gantayat located in the Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department of Odisha.

7. His parental house located at Co-operative Colony, 1st Lane, Berhampur, PS- Baidyanathpur, Dist- Ganjam .

8. His residential Govt. quarter No. S-50 located at municipality colony Unit-III, Bhubaneswar.
