Odisha: Shree Setu in Puri to be inaugurated today
The first trumpet bridge of Odisha, Shree Setu, will be inaugurated today ahead of the inauguration of Srimandir Parikrama Prakalpa.
Puri: The first trumpet bridge of Odisha, Shree Setu, will be inaugurated today ahead of the inauguration of Srimandir Parikrama Prakalpa. Notably, Shree Setu has been built for the smooth movement of devotees to Puri.
With this, devotees coming via bus or cars will be able to cross the bypass near Maltipatpur and reach directly at that Sri Jagannath Ballav Parking lot. The Shree Setu trumpet bridge has been built at a budget of 162 crore rupees.
Similarly, the Jagannath Ballav Pilgrim Centre has been developed at a cost of Rs 230 crores. Parking spaces have been arranged in the basement, first, third, and fourth floors of the five storeyed building. Meanwhile, the second floor has a shopping complex within it while the fifth floor serves as a meditation centre.
