Dhenkanal: Junior Assistant, BEO of Kamakhyanagar in Dhenkanal district has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance.
The vigilance apprehended him while demanding and accepting a bribe Rs.10,000/- from a Complainant( Headmaster of a primary School).
The bribe was demanded for facilitating release of his arrear salary.
The entire bribe money of Rs.10,000/- has been recovered and seized from the exclusive possession of accused person identified as Jibanananda Satpathy.
Following trap, simultaneous searches are being conducted at 2 places in Dhenkanal district from DA angle.
In this connection Cuttack Vigilance case has been registered.
Investigation is underway.
