At least five government primary teachers in Puri were dismissed from service on Monday, said reliable reports in this regard.

According to reports, the teachers were working and had got the job by submitting false documents and certificates. One of them is from Kanasa block and three others are said to be from Krushnapada block.
The Puri District Education Officer (DEO) Biswajit Ghosh has given the above information and said that all the dismissed teachers had submitted false documents to secure the job.
Later during investigation when the truth was unearthed, these five teachers were dismissed from service with immediate effect, said reliable reports.
The dismissed teachers have been identified as follows namely: Rabindra Kumar Palai, Satyasundar Biswal, Suresh Chandra Palai, Soudamini Pradhan, Nanda Kishore Sethi.
