Muharram holiday now rescheduled to July 29 (Saturday)

The Odisha Government on Thursday declared July 29,2023 as holiday for this year’s Muharram festival

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday has rescheduled the holiday for Muharram to Saturday (July 29).

Earlier, the holiday was declared on Friday (July 28).

The Government of Odisha has been pleased to declare holiday on 29.07.2023 (Saturday) instead of 28.07.2023 (Friday) on account of Muharram for the State Government Offices as well as the Revenue and Magisterial Courts (Executive),” an official notification issued by the State Government said.
