Cuttack: Kandhamal MP Achyuta Samanta attended a special program which was organized to celebrate the 150th foundation day of the Ravenshaw Girls’ High School in Cuttack.
Sujata R. Karthikeyan, the Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Mission Shakti, noted Educationist Dr. Archana Naik and other dignitaries also took part in the program.
In his address, Samanta said, Sujata is a perfect woman and advised the students to take her as a role model. He said that the era of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is a golden era for women and there has been a lot of improvement in the field of education under the leadership of the Chief Minister.
All the developmental works are going on in Odisha now because of 5T Chairman who works following the instructions of the Chief Minister. Behind him, Sujata is playing a key role in its successful implementation, the Kandhamal MP said.
The head of Mission Shakti while speaking on the occasion said that over 8,000 schools in the state have been included in 5T initiatives for their transformation and the Ravenshaw Girls’ High School, which is the centre of women’s education in Odisha, has played a leading role in educating the girls in the country and has produced many successful women.
