MK Behera joins as new Additional General Manager of East Coast Railway

Bhubaneswar: Reports say that, Mohes Kumar Behera, an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) has assumed office of the Additional General Manager of East Coast Railway (ECoR).

Prior to this, he was working as Chief Planning amd Design Engineer of ECoR at Bhubaneswar.

Shri Behera, has graduated from, University College of Engineering, Burla, Sambalpur, in Civil engineering and did M.Tech in Ocean Engineering from IIT, Madras joined Indian Railways in 1991.

He worked in various capacities in Railways like Chief Bridge Engineer, Chief Engineer (Bridge Rehabilitation) in ECoR; Group General Manager of Rites at Bhubaneswar, Chief Engineer (Construction) of Ganga Bridge under East Central Railway at Patna.

He also served at Munger and many other crucial posts including Sr Divisional Engineer (Co-Ordination), Sambalpur, Dy. Chief Vigilance Officer in ECoR and Dy. Chief Engineer (con) in NF Railway.
