Miscreants loot jewellery shop in Odisha’s Bhadrak district

Bhadrak: Unidentified miscreants allegedly looted gold ornaments and cash from a jewellery shop after breaking open shutter in Odisha’s Bhadrak district. The incident occurred at Manjuri Road under Bhandaripokhari police limits of the district.

According to sources, the incident occurred in the wee hours of Friday. After receiving information about the incident, police reached the shop and initiated a probe into the matter.

However, the exact amount of gold worth and cash robbed in the incident are yet to be ascertained. The miscreants who looted the shop are absconding. Search operation to nab the accused is reportedly underway.

Earlier yesterday, an incident of loot was reports from Odisha’s Sundargarh district. The entire scene of loot was recorded in CCTV camera. As per reports, as much as 10 lakh rupees were looted from the transport office of Crackers India, a private transport company near Ritarani Mine under Koida Tensa police station in Sundargarh district.

The whole scene of the loot has been captured on CCTV. On Wednesday at 3 o’clock in the night, as many as five looters came with a bike and looted Rs. 10 lakhs at gunpoint in Sundargarh.

In the recent past, there has been multiple loot cases in Bhubaneswar. Recently, the robbery has taken place in the house of a railway employee in the capital city of Bhubaneswar. Reports say that gold and cash has been looted from the house. The loot in Bhubaneswar has been reported from Bhotapada area under the Mancheswar police jurisdiction limit said reliable reports in this regard on Wednesday. The looters took advantage of the fact that there was no one at home during that time.
