Rourkela: In a shocking and tragic incident, a minor boy was bludgeoned to death in Sundargarh district of Odisha, said reports on Tuesday.
According to reports, the student’s body was recovered from a road on Heket Road, Tangerpali in Rourkela of Sundargarh district.
The deceased minor killed in Rourkela was studying in a private English medium school, said reliable reports in this regard on Tuesday.
This morning, the body of the minor was found lying near a culvert by the locals. The locals immediately informed the police.
The police reached the spot and are investigating into the incident. It is yet to be ascertained as to who killed the minor and why. The body of the deceased minor killed in Rourkela has been seized and sent for postmortem.
The police however have detained and are interrogating three classmates of the minor boy relating to the incident, said latest reports in this regard.
