Jajpur: A Jajpur Special POSCO fast track court awarded a rape accused tuition teacher and sentenced him 20 years of imprisonment.
The accused Biswanath Barik was arrested on charges of raping a 10-year-old girl in 2021 under Korai police limits.
The judge convicted the man for 20 years and also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 and also have asked to pay Rs 4 lakh compensation to the victim.
