Sambalpur: Yet another COVID positive case has been reported from the Burla-based Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Odisha’s Sambalpur district.
According to reports, a patient was admitted at Cardiac Department of VIMSAR on April 2 for treatment. However, his COVID report turned out to be positive, said sources.
The entire Cardiac Department has been sanitized following the detection of positive case, added the source.
Earlier, several patients and health workers including Doctors and Nurses of the hospital had tested positive for the deadly virus.
