IMD predicts rain for 13 districts of Odisha tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: After two days respite from incessant rain to several parts of Odisha the IMD Regional Centre here has predicted more showers in next 24 hours for at least 13 districts of the State tomorrow.

As per the Weatherman, districts like Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh and Kendrapara are likely to experience heavy rainfall tomorrow.

In addition, the MeT Department has also expected light to moderate rain in some parts of north Odisha today with the possibility of thunderstorm occurence at one or two places.

Notably, yesterday in its bulletin the IMD had warned of heavy rain across the State starting from August 12 triggered by a low-pressure area to be formed on south-east Bay of Bengal.
