Gold medallist seen polishing shoes in Bhubaneswar! Watch
High Court issued order asking to appoint her as professor. However, despite the HC’s order she could not get the job.
Bhubaneswar: An unusual happening has been reported where a gold medallist student was seen polishing shoes and sandals on the roadside in the capital city of Odisha recently. Besides, she also is a national level player. Yet, what made this meritorious student to do shoe polish on the roadside? A report
Meet Archana Kanungo from Bhubaneswar. She reportedly topped in the University and thus was awarded a gold medallist. She has also done M. Phil and PH D. She also got job as an Assistant Professor.
Archana appeared in the written exam. She also is a black belt in Karate. In Tai-kondo she has got gold medals.
However, she was also selected for Govt job but could not get it. Accordingly she moved to High Court. The Court issued directives asking to appoint her as professor. However, despite the HC’s order she could not get the job.
Hence, she decided to polish shoes on the road of the capital city. She was also seen selling potato and onion.
