New Delhi: A fake video of Amit Shah Union Home Minister on ending reservation went viral recently during the General Elections 2024. It is worth mentioning that, the Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has been summoned to appear before Delhi Police.

According to sources, the Delhi Police’s IFSO unit (Cyber Unit) has summoned the Chief Minister of Telangana to appear before it on May 1 to join the investigation.  He has been asked to appear with his mobile phone which had allegedly been used for posting the fake video on X (formerly Twitter).

Delhi Police’s Special Cell had recently intensified efforts to track down individuals behind uploading fake video of Amit Shah on X and sharing it widely across India. Reports said that even those who deleted the videos shall come under the radar of investigation.

It has been further clarified by BJP leaders that the Union Home Minister on ending reservation is completely doctored and that the Minister Shah only spoke only about removing the unconstitutional reservation given to Muslims, on the basis of religion. Amit Shah had reportedly earlier said that the four percent Muslim reservation in the state of Telengana was unconstitutional.
