Elderly man dies after being hit by motorcycle in Odisha’s Bhadrak district

Bhadrak: An elderly man died after being hit by a motorcycle in Odisha’s Bhadrak district. The incident occurred Satia village under Bhadrak police limit.

According to reports, the deceased, identified as Ekadashi Nayak, went market to have tea in the morning. While he was returning home, he was hit by a speeding motorcycle. Due to accident, the man died on the spot.

Meanwhile, the locals present at the scene immediately informed police about the matter.

After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and seized the bike. The cops also sent the body of the deceased for autopsy and initiated a probe into the matter.

In a similar instance yesterday (March 31), a speeding car crushed a tea seller to death in the capital city of Odisha. The incident took place near the Panda Park under Saheed Nagar Police Station limits on Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Dillip Parida of Binjharpur in Jajpur district.

As per reports, a speeding Mercedes car hit Dillip Parida today. As a result he was killed on the spot.
