The dead of a man was seen floating in Mahanadi river near Jobra barrage of Jagatpur of Odisha's Cuttack district.
Cuttack: The dead of a man was seen floating in Mahanadi river near Jobra barrage of Jagatpur of Odisha’s Cuttack district. The identity of the deceased is yet to be discovered.
According to sources, locals spotted the dead body floating on the river. Following this, they immediately informed the police about the incident.
After receiving information about the incident, Police and Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) team reached the spot and initiated rescue operation.
As per the official reports, a complaint of man jumping into Mahanadi was registered. However, it yet to confirm that the dead is of the same man or not.
