Cyclonic circulation over BOB to cause heavy rainfall in Odisha from September 12

A cyclonic circulation is expected to form over the Bay of Bengal. This is likely to cause heavy rainfall in Odisha from September 12.

Bhubaneswar: Rainfall in Odisha is likely to increase from tomorrow onwards. Another cyclonic circulation is likely to develop over the North-Western Bay of Bengal on September 12.

Weather forecasts predict heavy rainfall along with lightning in several areas across the state. In view of the same, 19 districts have been given a yellow warning for tomorrow. The intensity of rainfall in Odisha is expected to increase from September 12 onwards.

A yellow warning has been issued to nine districts in view of heavy to very heavy rainfall on September 12. Furthermore, 14 districts have been given a yellow warning for heavy rainfall on September 13.

The regional meteorological department has predicted the formation of two low pressure areas in the upcoming week.
