Bhubaneswar: Twin city of Odisha has registered less than 10 Covid positive cases on March 7, 2022. Bhubaneswar has registered 8 new Covid-19 cases today while Cuttack city (CMC area) has recorded just one positive case today.
According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), the 8 positive cases registered today were local contact cases.
With today’s development the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,356. The recovered cases are 1,54,860. The total deceased cases are 1191. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 284.
The only case registered in Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC area) was reported from institutional quarantine.
The total cases in CMC are 56,013 while the total recovered cases are 55,552. Total Active cases are 32 while total deaths are 429.
The recovered cases in BMC and CMC today are 19 and 3 respectively.
Odisha on Monday reported 120 fresh cases of Covid including 26 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,86,009.
Reportedly, among the 120 positives, 69 patients are in quarantine, and 51 are the local contacts. There are as many as 1313 active cases in Odisha.
