Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to visit Odisha today

Congress senior leader Rahul Gandhi led ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra” is set to reach Birmitrapur of Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Tuesday.

Bhubaneswar: Congress senior leader Rahul Gandhi led ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra” is set to reach Birmitrapur of Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Tuesday.

In a press meet held at Rourkela, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Sarat Pattnayak informed about the details of Rahul Gandhi’s schedule in Odisha.

As per the scheduled program, the Congress leader will enter Odisha from the Jharkhand border at Birmitrapur at 2.30 pm today. Once he reach here, the flag of ‘Bharat Joda Nyay Yatra’ will be handed over to the Odisha Congress. Following this the yatra will continue about 11 KM and reach Bijabahal where Rahul will take rest at night.

On the next day, Rahul Gandhi will again start Yatra from Rourkela SP office and address the public gathering at Panaposh square. On the same day, he will will also address a meeting at Kutra and Baragaon. Later in the evening, the Congress leader will take night halt at Amipally of Jharsuguda.

On Thursday, the yatra will resume from Jharsuguda and it will culminate at Kanaktora near Chhattisgarh border, where the flag of the Yatra would be handed to Chhattisgarh Congress.

Congress’s Bharat Nyay Yatra started from Manipur to Mumbai, where the party leaders will pass through 14 states and 85 districts from the east to the west of India in 67 days. The yatra began on January 14.
