Cuttack: In a shocking and shameful incident, a team of Commissionerate Police busted a sex racket in the Lalbag area of Cuttack City today.
According to reports, the flesh trade was running in one of the quarters of PHD department situated behind the Govt RNT College for a long period of time. However, police came to know about it from reliable sources and raided it.
Four persons including the house owner Sarat Chandra Chand, his wife Jhuna Chand and kingpin Sujata and customer Duryodhana were arrested by the Lalbag Police from the spot.
Cops also rescued two sex workers from the quarter. They have been sent for a medical examination.
Meanwhile, Lalbag Police is carrying out a probe into the matter to find out how long the sex racket has been ruing and who all are involved in the case.
