CM Naveen Patnaik greets people on Sambalpuri Day

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik greeted and extended his warm wishes to the people of Odisha on the occasion of Sambalpuri Day or Sambalpuri Din.

Taking to his twitter handle, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik wished everyone on the occasion of Sambalpuri Din.

In his message, Naveen said, Happy Sambalpuri Day to all, he wished everyone, I pay my respects to Satyanarayan Bohidar, the eminent literary guru. Western Odisha and Odisha to get a new direction by joining hands together for the development of the state. Jai Ma Samlei.

‘Sambalpuri Din’ or Sambalpuri Day marks the birth anniversary of Guru Satyanarayan Bohidar whose age defining contributions to the promotion of the dialect through his books literally provided the western-Odisha language the identity it has today.
